In Class 9, Biology is introduced as a key part of the Science curriculum, along with Physics and Chemistry. Biology mainly focuses on the study of living organisms – how they are structured, how they grow, survive, and interact with their surroundings.

This subject gives students a chance to explore life in detail, starting from the smallest unit of life – the cell, and moving towards more complex systems like tissues, organs, organisms, and even ecosystems. Students learn how life is organized, how different organisms are classified, what causes diseases, and how we can improve food production.
